Understanding Secrets of the Herd
Through Horse Listening

and collective worth that has been forgotten. The Horse’s Way herd

-
See and Hear what is
here, instead of what should be, was or will be (EARTH)
-
Say what you feel and
think (FIRE)
-
Feel what you feel by
getting quiet enough to listen (WOOD)
-
Ask for what you want
instead of waiting for permission (WATER)
-
Take risks on your own
behalf instead of choosing to be only “secure” (METAL)

Drawing from the Soul -
The Essence of Creativity
with Kim McElroy and Lisa Dee
This retreat will explore how horses can
inspire you to define yourself in new ways through creative forms of
expression. Yet it isn’t an art class, or even a class on how to draw
horses. Rather it is experiencing the
process of opening to inspirations, and how you can shape those
inspirations into tangible forms. Even if you have never considered
yourself an “artist”, these unique experiences can awaken creative
skills that will then manifest in all parts of your life.
Horses are catalysts for awakening creativity and personal awareness. In
the presence of horses, the essence of life is revealed in ways that we
can then communicate through creative expression. You will experience
transformational sessions with the horses and the facilitators, along
with carefully crafted activities to assist in integrating this powerful
process.
Led by visionary horse artist, Kim McElroy, this retreat offers the
experience of spending quality time with Kim and the opportunity to
learn how she accesses the inspiration that is evident in her stunning
works.
Kim McElroy’s gift is in helping you learn to access your essence, to
define what emerges from your creative spirit, and explore tools of
artistic expression, which can give those impressions color and form.
Lisa Dee’s gift is in collaborating with the horses to help you perceive
and release any blocks to the questions or revelations that can reveal
your creative spirit. Lisa is an Epona approved instructor educated in
Psych-K, and a Parelli trained natural horsewoman.

Animal Communication
“To Heal Your Animal Is To Heal Yourself”
Marijke
van de Water, B.Sc.
An absolute must for
animal lovers. Animal communication is a simple way of quietly attuning
yourself to a particular animal or situation and “sensing and/or
intuiting” their energy. Communicating with animals/nature is not
magical – it is possible because of our inherent relationship with
nature and the “energy” network that exists between all living things.
Find out what your
pet likes and dislikes; their favourite foods, their favourite
activities, their emotions, their experiences, their health, their
physical and/or emotional needs, and everything else they would like you
to know - pets mostly share information intended to help their people.
This day is full of
guided meditations, attunements, new insights, personal growth, and, of
course, conversations with your animals.
This
workshop is guided by Marijke van de Water, B.Sc., (Clinical Nutrition)
DHMS (Homeopathic Medicine). She is a Homeopathic Practitioner, Equine
Health & Nutrition Specialist, Shamanic Practitioner, and Medical
Intuitive from Armstrong, BC. where she runs a private practice in
natural medicine. Marijke resolves a variety of equine health conditions
by formulating health programs through the use of feeding programs,
nutritional supplements, herbs, homeopathic medicines, and energy work.
Her easy style, expert knowledge, and extensive teaching experience have
put her in high demand across North American for her informative
lectures, fascinating workshops, and successful health practices with
horses.
She is also the founder of “Riva’s Remedies”, an herbal and
homeopathic equine product line widely available across Canada and the
US.
